Industrial molybdenum oxide ball is carbon free ball, and industrial molybdenum oxide block is packed in bags and barrels. Sodium molybdate is carbon containing block. High purity MoO3 can be prepared from 10kg industrial molybdenum oxide packed in boxes after sublimation. Many pure molybdenum chemicals (mainly molybdenum oxide and molybdate) can be produced by wet chemical process.
principle
Firstly, sodium molybdate is decomposed in alkaline medium (ammonium or sodium hydroxide), and then impurities are removed by precipitation and filtration (or solvent extraction). The obtained ammonium molybdate solution can be transformed into various molybdenum products by crystallization or acid precipitation. These molybdenum products can be further processed into high purity molybdenum trioxide after calcination.
